Sales Executive
Our client a leading international freight forwarder is looking for an experienced sales executive to cover the Manchester area.

They now have a rare opening to join the commercial team based at Manchester and are seeking a Sales Executive to cover sales throughout the North of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy and tactics to generate revenue. Provide market information including pricing, forecasts, contract rates and respond to customer’s questions, problems, request and or complaints.

Ocean Import Key Account Operator

Accountabilities:
Opening and maintaining job files through in house system
Maintaining & monitoring shipments through our Track & Trace system
Arranging customs clearance through our Port Clearance dept
Arranging deliveries to customer requirements
Invoicing and collecting funds (DUTY/VAT)
Approving purchase invoices for payment
Resolving invoice queries (Purchase/sales)
Quotations
Completion of reports
Rate negotiation with suppliers and clients
Review meetings with clients at Director level
Requirements:
Min 3 years experience in deep-sea imports
Working knowledge of customs procedures
High degree of accuracy and ability to work under pressure
Word / Excel literate.

Multi Modal Operation Clerk
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Export Clerk is responsible for processing airfreight shipments for export from start to finish. Sea Freight and Groupage experience would be extremely advantageous as this will be incorporated within the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes airfreight shipments for export;
Completing HAWBs, MAWBs and IATA forms;
Dealing with customer queries;
Completing all relevant paperwork, entering consol data;
Completing HM Customs paperwork;REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years minimum experience within airfreight industry essential. Must be fully conversant with all Export procedures. Educated to GCSE level, with good grades in Maths and English. Should have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar function in the freight forwarding industry.

Skills:
Experience of consolidations, HAWBs/MAWBs and IATA shipment procedures (essential);
Training in dangerous goods and knowledge of letters of credit (desirable training can be given).
Security Level 4 (Course can be arranged)Knowledge of:
Customs procedures as well as Inward & Outward Processing Reliefs (essential);
MS Office (WORD, possibly EXCEL);
Westlake airfreight system (desirable, but training can be given);
ASM Chief system. (training can be given)Ability to:
work under supervision
tactfully handle customers and their queries;
must be prepared to work overtime including weekends if required
Work accurately and quickly to meet deadlines

Seafreight Import Operator
To provide comprehensive customer support to the Sea freight Department at Liverpool, promoting ‘Best in Class’ service levels. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Working in a busy Import Department - Assisting and Advising customers of Arrivals, processing clearance and delivery to customers - Dealing with potential new customers - Preparing files ready for entry and providing all details to enable the job to be completed - Proactive response to Service Issues.

The candidate must be able to communicate and motivate via written media (e-mail, letter etc).
